I recently had my first dental appointment as an adult at Kakouras Family Dentistry, and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. Last dental visit was over 25 years ago. I was extremely nervous and scared, shaking as I walked into the office. However, Dr. Kakouras and his team quickly put me at ease. Dr. Kakouras was incredibly gentle, patient, and reassuring throughout my visit. I needed a root canal and a crown for a painful tooth, and he took the time to explain everything about the procedures to me in detail. He treated me with the utmost respect, making sure I felt comfortable and informed every step of the way. One of the most impressive aspects of my experience was Dr. Kakouras's special technique for administering anesthesia. I didn't even feel the needle, and thanks to his expertise, I experienced no pain during the procedure. The nitrous sedation worked wonders, allowing everything to go smoothly and comfortably. Dr. Kakouras's care didn't end when I left the office; he even called me later that night to check on my recovery. This level of personal attention and genuine concern for my well-being was truly heartwarming and this is coming from a nurse. I also want to give a special shoutout to Morgan, Dr. Kakouras's assistant. She was my rock throughout the entire process, providing support and comfort when I needed it most. Dr Kakouras has been my dentist for over ten years- during that time I have had many procedures done (crowns, filings & extractions). All of the work he has done has been great.
