I am 59yrs young, and needed a root canal done. I was completely afraid and scared. When I sat in the chair from the time the doctor came in to numb me I had thoughts of just getting up to leave. Dr. Helms came in and did the procedure and my God I thought I was in dental heaven. She was phenomenal in every aspect. She was more gentle than anyone doctor I have ever encountered. She talked me through the procedure and let me know her every move. Her chair side manner was amazing. All I kept thinking was wow this was not bad as I thought it would be. She is my dental Shero.
