As a patient requiring trauma informed care, I can tell you that all the back office care providers are exceptional. They care, they go the extra mile, and they are careful and open to however you need to proceed. I did have one patient rights concern with how I was treated at the front desk when it came to billing, but Dr. Kakouras personally spoke to me and handled it like a professional. I'm very grateful for the passion the team has for dentistry, and would still recommend this practice to anyone requiring trauma informed care. My best advice would be to have a plan in place for what you need to get through your dental work, and speak openly with the back operation: your doctors, hygienists, etc. As for the front office, know your rights and don't be afraid to be a good advocate for yourself, even if it is uncomfortable. The doctors will have your back on this and care about your feedback.
